26 December 2023: Additional payment options for Paypal invoicing

Paypal has added some additional ways to pay a Paypal invoice.

If you are signed in to a Paypal account, you will have the option to pay with Paypal or Venmo.

If you don't have a Paypal account (or aren't signed in), you will also have the option to pay by debit or credit card. The main difference between this and using the credit card options during checkout is that I will never see your credit card number.

9 July 2023: US First Class Mail is now "Ground Advantage"

The US Postal Service (USPS) has consolidated its domestic first class package service, retail ground, and parcel select ground into a new service called "Ground Advantage." The "First Class Mail" option in our shopping cart is now called "Ground Advantage."

This new service provides a slightly slower (2-5 business day) delivery than Priority Mail for a slightly lower cost. Unlike the old first class package service, it can be used for packages weighing over a pound.

Shop by Appointment

We live next to the store, so are usually around during business hours, but there are times when we have doctors appointments or need to make trips into town during the day. Please call or email beforehand to make sure I will be here and am not expecting other people at the store.

Special Orders

Some of my suppliers are operating with reduced staff, and they are also coping with the same supply chain/shipping issues as everyone else. So special ordering yarn may take a bit longer than usual. Inventory counts are now displayed for all yarn — the numbers in the computer don't always match what's on the shelf, but should be pretty close.
